Role: Under the guidance of a Co-Executive Director, this position will be responsible for leading the organization in understanding Illuminate Colorado’s functioning and impact as well as ensuring continuous learning and quality improvement across the organization. The Director of Evaluation & Strategic Learning will oversee the development and enhancement of the organization’s data and learning systems and processes, promote the use of data as a critical tool for program improvement and sustainability, and ensure that appropriate and effective data collection approaches, analyses, and reports are utilized, prepared, and disseminated to meet internal and external learning and reporting needs. The Director of Evaluation & Strategic Learning will also serve on the Leadership Team to inform strategic planning efforts in order to strengthen the organization’s diverse efforts related to direct service provision, public awareness initiatives, training and education, quality improvement efforts, coalition building, and legislative advocacy.

Experience, Skills, & Qualifications:

• • At least five years experience in the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of data collection and program evaluation processes at a team- or organizational-level.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-organizationally to align strategic priorities, objectives, processes, and systems and to enhance organizational functioning and impact.
  • Experience overseeing organizational data systems, including CRM databases, survey platforms, data visualization tools, to ensure effective utilization and coordination across platforms. 
  • Proven ability to build organizational capacity and cultivate a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to build organizational evaluation capacity and aid in the professional development of staff.
  • Technical knowledge and applied experience related to quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies, particularly in community settings and with vulnerable or hard-to-reach populations.
  • Proven knowledge and skills related to data analysis, visualization, and reporting with the ability to create accessible learning systems, such as dashboards, to allow for real-time feedback and continuous quality improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with tested capacity to effectively synthesize, translate, and mobilize data and evaluation learnings to individuals of different professional backgrounds, technical knowledge, and lived experiences.
  • Ability to maintain and apply a micro and macro lens, holding a deep understanding of both program and organizational impact, strengths, and challenges while also keeping abreast of trends in the field and contextual factors that may impact functioning or outcomes.
  • Ability to accomplish large-scale projects while remaining adaptable and responsive to emergent and/or shifting organizational and community needs.
  • Impeccable work ethic, personal integrity, and transparency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google suite.

Compensation & Schedule: 

Full-time, salaried, exempt position eligible for benefits. Starting salary is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience in the range of $75,000 – $85,000.

Family Connects works in partnership with four current demonstration communities and is poised to scale.

Experience, Skills, & Qualifications:

• • The Contract Medical Director must be an MD, DO, CNM (certified nurse midwife), PA (Physician Assistant), or NP (Nurse Practitioner). At least five years of related experience in one of these three areas: OBGYN/midwifery or pediatrics. Behavioral health experience in addition to this would be preferred but not required.
  • The Contract Medical Director should collaborate with other specialists in areas that are not their specialty to cover all of the above 
  • At least five years of related experience which may include implementing or supporting an evidence-based program or model, local public health leadership, and/or hospital systems engagement
  • Understanding and ability to navigate community health and hospital systems, including commonly used Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Passion for supporting collaborative processes and maternal child health initiatives through inclusive and culturally responsive practices 
  • Commitment to advancing social and racial equity through collective action
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage collaborative projects, including balancing deadlines with community processes
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain highly collaborative working relationships with individuals of diverse professional backgrounds, technical expertise, and lived experience
  • Comfort with ambiguity, shifting environments, and shared decision making

Compensation & Schedule: 

Contract role (approximately 8 hours per month). Not eligible for benefits.

Compensation: $120-150/hour based on experience and credentials.

A retention stipend of $1500 is available for this position. The successful candidate will receive a partial stipend at 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days of employment upon the successful completion of all training, including but not limited to RV Driver Training, RV Equipment Training, all required PDIS training, and CPR/First Aid.

This position will be required to travel to service locations in the Denver Metro area. A cell phone will be needed to complete necessary duties regarding this position. Flexibility to work an alternating schedule that may include opening and closing center hours, and may include some evenings. More details will be provided through the interview process.

We’re hiring a SMILE Parent Educator!

Role: The parent educator plays a key role in partnership with the Best for Babies navigator by supporting the implementation of the SMILE program and participating in evaluation efforts to advance positive outcomes for birthing people living with complex challenges.

Specific Duties Include: The parent educator will contact referring agencies as directed. In collaboration with the Best for Babies Family Navigator, this role requires the parent educator to: (1) recruit and consent participants, (2) interview participants to collect demographic information and responses to study measures, (3) input data into digital platforms as directed, (4) deliver assigned parenting modules and administering corresponding incentives, (5) help with referrals to support services and a warm hand off, as needed, before discharge, and (6) conduct follow up calls with participants at predetermined intervals following hospital discharge. The nurse parent educator will also help to train and support Illuminate staff regarding SMILE implementation. The nurse family educator may also participate in multidisciplinary planning meetings, coalitions, or other networks as directed by the supervisor.

Compensation & Schedule:

Part-time, hourly position ineligible for benefits. Starting wages are negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience in the range of $30/hour- $40/hour.
