There are three easy ways to give:
One-time Donation: Individuals can make a single, immediate contribution to Illuminate Colorado using our secure online donation form.
Recurring Donation: Donors can set up regular, automated contributions on a monthly basis, providing sustained support for Illuminate Colorado’s initiatives. This can be done through our secure online donation form. Setting up a recurring donation means that you become one of our Luminaries – read more about that below.
Check or Money Order: If you prefer to donate by check or money order, please make it payable to Illuminate Colorado and mail it to:

By making a recurring gift that we can count on to strengthen our programs and advocacy year round, Luminaries provide the stable and consistent support we need to grow and strengthen families, organizations, and communities to prevent child maltreatment.

When you become a Luminary by committing to a recurring donation, you’ll receive:

- Exclusive quarterly update from our Co-Executive Directors
- Special Luminary recognition in annual report
- Optional opportunity for individualized social media recognition as a Luminary
- Advanced registration for special events
- Like all monetary donations to Illuminate, Luminaries are eligible for a 50% tax credit through the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit. This means that Luminaries can receive a substantial portion of annual contributions back as a credit against Colorado state income taxes.
The Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit
Thanks to the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, all monetary donations made to Illuminate Colorado are eligible for a 50% tax credit. This means that when you donate, you can receive a substantial portion of your contribution back as a credit against your Colorado state income taxes.
