Take a Training on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention

It is up to us as adults to create communities that all children deserve–ones where they can grow up healthy and reach their full potential.

In order to prevent child sexual abuse, adults need to take greater responsibility to educate themselves on how to create safer communities where everyone is actively thinking about how to prevent children from experiencing sexual abuse. If enough adults in a community take a FREE, live, interactive online training then we can create a new standard of child safety throughout Colorado. Together, we can reach a tipping point where children grow up happy, healthy and safe in communities that prevent children from experiencing sexual abuse.

Do your part and register for an upcoming training today!

Enhance your work by learning how to talk with families about creating safer environments for their children.

The Substance Use Conversation Guide is a tool for professionals that provides direction on strengths-based conversations with families on substances and substance use, including sections on safe storage, safe and engaged caregiving, and the Protective Factors.

The Training addresses the concepts found in the Conversation Guide, and also explores stigma, bias, boundaries, screening tools, and resource/referral options.

Help the families you work with learn to manage their children’s safety by registering for an upcoming training!

Learn how you can promote positive experiences for the children in your life.

Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) is a new way of seeing and talking about experiences that support children’s growth and development into healthy, resilient adults.

Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) allow children to form strong relationships and meaningful connections, cultivate positive self-image and self-worth, experience a sense of belonging, and build skills to cope with stress in healthy ways.

You can learn how to build brighter childhoods for the children in your community through the power of positive experiences by taking a Community HOPE training this summer!
